Welcome to ICAEA.
ICAEA is a non profit-making association created under a 1901 French law. Currently, our only source of income is the registration fees from the seminars we organise and our only manpower the voluntary services of our four board members.
The last two seminars in Warsaw and Luxembourg represented a rebirth and a turning point in the life of ICAEA.
- The Board was expanded with the appointment of two new vice presidents;
- Plans were laid to obtain sponsorship and work towards a permanent administrative structure;
- Ties were made with official bodies (ICAO, IFALPA) who recognised the Association’s usefulness and potential role in the Aviation community;
- Interest was shown in gradually increasing the number and type of events (seminars, workshops) organised by ICAEA and in spreading its activities beyond Europe;
- The desire was expressed to involve more members actively in the organisation and running of ICAEA;
- It was decided to launch the present web site with the sponsorship of the Polish Air Traffic Agency.
The web site comprises two parts: a general, public area for browsing and a members’ area with various features of a more specific scope (Bibliography, Articles, Reviews etc.). For the moment, the whole of the web site is entirely free of charge. If you wish to use the features of the Members’ area, we should like you to fill in the box below. Registering yourself in this way will constitute joining ICAEA, enable you to use our web site in its entirety and entitle you to register for our future events.
In creating this site, we hope to provide a tool that will not only be interactive and informative but a means for you to enter into contact with the rest of the aviation English community more easily. Maybe part of your involvement will be contributing to making this tool even more worthwhile.
I would like to become an ICAEA member.
