A Word from the President

Beyond March 2011

ICAEA is delighted to announce that it will be holding its 10th Aviation English forum, generously hosted by the GGIFA (Gulf Golden International College of Aviation), at the Grand Dorsett Subang Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 23rd and 24th November 2010, with a visit of Kuala Lumpur on 25th. It is a source of great satisfaction, and an old ambition, that one of our events is taking place outside Europe for the first time.

Since we last reported on the project, second and third screenings of over one hundred samples from more than twenty test providers have been carried out; the samples are being processed for uploading onto the dedicated website and many raters have volunteered to take part. The FACETS analysis is being prepared at the University of Lancaster. We are on track for the training aid to be available from the ICAO website by the end of the year. click here
